Professional Standards & Policies

Last updated: July 2026

Welcome

At Pro Behave, we believe that psychology should not remain confined to textbooks, clinics or moments of crisis. It should be practical, engaging and woven into everyday life—helping people better understand themselves, strengthen relationships and navigate life's challenges with greater awareness.

Guided by our MESH Philosophy (Mental, Emotional & Social Health), we strive to create meaningful products, services and experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage reflection and promote lifelong learning. These Professional Standards, Guiding Principles & Additional Policies reflect the values that shape our work and our commitment to serving our community responsibly

Our Commitment

1. Our Philosophy

We believe meaningful conversations have the power to transform lives. Whether through a thoughtfully designed conversation deck, an educational article, a workshop or a consultation, our goal is to create opportunities for people to think more deeply, communicate more openly and connect more authentically. Psychology, in our view, should empower rather than intimidate.

It should encourage curiosity rather than judgement and make personal growth accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background.

Our Belief

Better conversations create better relationships, healthier communities and more emotionally aware lives

2. Our Mission

Our mission is to make psychology engaging, accessible and relevant to everyday life through products, education and meaningful experiences. We aim to bridge the gap between psychological science and real-world application by designing resources that encourage self-awareness, empathy, emotional literacy and lifelong learning.

Every initiative undertaken by Pro Behave is guided by the intention of helping individuals, families, educators, organisations and communities understand human behaviour with greater clarity and compassion

3. Ethical Practice

Respect, integrity and professionalism are central to everything we do. Our work is guided by ethical principles that value human dignity, informed choice, confidentiality, inclusivity and cultural sensitivity. We recognise that every person's experiences, beliefs and circumstances are unique, and we strive to create environments that are welcoming, psychologically safe and free from judgement.

Where professional services are provided, they are delivered in accordance with applicable ethical standards and within the scope of professional competence

4. Research-Informed Approach

Our products, services and educational resources are informed by established psychological theories, evidence-informed practices, professional experience and ongoing learning. Psychological science continues to evolve, and we remain committed to reviewing and refining our content to reflect current knowledge and best practices wherever appropriate. While research informs our work, we also recognise that no single theory or framework fully explains every individual experience.

Our Commitment

We continuously learn, review and improve so that our work remains thoughtful, relevant and responsible

Professional Practice

8. Professional Relationship

A psychologist–client relationship is established only after a consultation has been formally scheduled, accepted and commenced, subject to informed consent and applicable professional standards. The following do not establish an ongoing therapeutic relationship:

• Visiting our website

• Purchasing products

• Reading blogs or Chat Stories

• Participating in workshops

• Following our social media channels

• Sending emails or direct messages

• Completing quizzes or activities We believe clear professional boundaries help protect both clients and professionals while ensuring high-quality services

9. Online Consultation Standards

Our online consultations are intended to provide a confidential, respectful and collaborative environment for psychological support and personal growth. Clients are encouraged to attend sessions from a private location, participate honestly and respectfully, and ensure they have a stable internet connection where reasonably possible. Although we make every effort to provide secure and reliable online services, occasional technical interruptions may occur.

Where appropriate, referrals to in-person services or other professionals may be recommended if online consultations are not suitable for an individual's needs

10. Workshops & Learning Experiences

Our workshops are designed to provide engaging, inclusive and psychologically safe learning experiences. Participants are expected to respect differing opinions, contribute constructively and maintain appropriate conduct throughout the programme. Workshop content, activities and learning materials are intended for educational purposes and may not be reproduced, recorded or commercially distributed without prior written permission.

Photographs or recordings may occasionally be taken during events with appropriate notice and, where required, consent.

Our Learning Spaces

We value curiosity over certainty, dialogue over debate and understanding over assumptions

Our Community, Safety & Responsibility

11. Community Standards

At Pro Behave, we believe that meaningful learning flourishes in environments built on respect, empathy and open-mindedness. Whether engaging through our website, workshops, social media, future online communities or digital platforms, we ask every member to contribute positively. We encourage healthy discussion and diverse perspectives while maintaining mutual respect.

Harassment, discrimination, bullying, hate speech, personal attacks, misinformation, spam, unlawful activity or repeated disruptive behaviour may result in moderation, removal of content or restriction of access to our services or communities.

Our Community Values

Respect differences. Listen with curiosity. Speak with kindness. Learn with humility

12. Mental Health & Well-being

Mental health is deeply personal and influenced by biological, psychological, social and environmental factors. While our products and services are rooted in psychology, they are designed to promote awareness, reflection and learning rather than replace personalised healthcare. Our conversation decks, books, workshops, blogs, Chat Stories and educational resources are intended to complement—not substitute—appropriate professional support where needed.

If you are experiencing persistent emotional difficulties or concerns about your mental health, we encourage you to seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional

13. Crisis & Emergency Support

Pro Behave does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services. If you or someone you know is experiencing thoughts of suicide, self-harm, harm towards others, severe psychological distress or any medical or psychiatric emergency, please contact your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately. Emails, contact forms, social media messages and consultation booking requests should never be relied upon during an emergency, as they may not be monitored continuously

14. Privacy, Cookies & Technology

Protecting your privacy is fundamental to building trust. We collect and process personal information responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve website functionality, remember preferences, understand visitor behaviour and enhance user experience. By continuing to use our website, you consent to the use of cookies as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Most browsers also allow you to manage or disable cookies through their settings. We continually review our digital practices to promote responsible data handling, transparency and user confidence

15. Accessibility, Diversity & Inclusion

Psychology should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to creating products, services and digital experiences that are as inclusive and accessible as reasonably possible. We welcome people of all ages, cultures, identities, abilities, languages and lived experiences. We believe that diversity strengthens learning and that respectful dialogue creates richer conversations.

If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, we encourage you to contact us so we can continue improving our services

16. Children, Families & Educators

Many Pro Behave resources are designed to support conversations within families, classrooms and educational settings. Parents, guardians and educators remain responsible for supervising children's participation and determining what is appropriate for their age and developmental stage. Consultations involving minors require the informed consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards

Innovation & Intellectual Property

17. Artificial Intelligence & Emerging Technologies

Innovation is an important part of our vision. As Pro Behave grows, we may introduce AI-assisted tools, interactive learning experiences, digital companions, mobile applications and other emerging technologies to support education and self-reflection. These technologies are intended to enhance learning and should not be interpreted as personalised psychological, medical, legal or financial advice.

Users are encouraged to exercise independent judgment and seek qualified professional guidance where appropriate

18. Intellectual Property & Creative Rights

Every Pro Behave creation represents significant thought, creativity and professional effort. Unless otherwise stated, all conversation decks, game mechanics, card structures, questions, stories, illustrations, artwork, characters, logos, trademarks, books, blogs, Chat Stories, workshop materials, research frameworks, videos, audio, downloadable resources, translations, digital content and educational materials remain the intellectual property of Pro Behave or its respective rights holders.

They may not be copied, reproduced, adapted, translated, published, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative works without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law

19. Reviews, Testimonials & Media

We value honest feedback and appreciate the experiences shared by our community. Testimonials and reviews published on our website or social media reflect the personal opinions and experiences of individual users and should not be interpreted as guarantees of similar outcomes. During workshops or events, photographs, videos or recordings may occasionally be taken for educational, promotional or documentation purposes.

Where participants are clearly identifiable, appropriate notice and consent will be obtained where required. Participants who prefer not to appear in such material are encouraged to inform us before the event begins

20. Professional Boundaries & Communication

To maintain ethical standards and ensure fairness to all clients, professional boundaries are respected across all interactions. Clinical advice is not provided through social media, direct messages, comments, email or public forums. Communication outside scheduled consultations is generally limited to administrative matters such as appointments, payments or logistical enquiries. This helps preserve the quality, confidentiality and integrity of professional services

Looking Ahead

Growing with Purpose

As Pro Behave evolves, we may introduce new products, services and initiatives including online courses, certification programmes, multilingual resources, memberships, corporate learning experiences, school programmes, mobile applications and community platforms. These additions will continue to reflect the same values, ethical standards and guiding principles outlined in this document, together with our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and other applicable policies

Updates to These Standards

Our Professional Standards & Guiding Principles may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in professional practice, technology, legal requirements or the evolution of our services. The latest version will always be available on our website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the most current version

Our Promise

At Pro Behave, we don't believe psychology belongs only in therapy rooms or academic journals. We believe it belongs around dinner tables, in classrooms, workplaces, friendships and everyday conversations. We believe that asking thoughtful questions, listening with empathy and understanding ourselves a little better can create meaningful change—not just for individuals, but for families, communities and society as a whole.

Everything we create, whether it is a conversation deck, a book, a workshop, a consultation, a story or a digital experience, is designed with care, curiosity and purpose. While we cannot promise certainty or guarantee outcomes, we can promise to approach our work with integrity, professionalism, compassion and a commitment to continual learning. Thank you for being part of the Pro Behave community.

We hope our work inspires you to think more deeply, feel more openly and connect more meaningfully—with yourself and with those around you
